Anna Bossman is the 20-year-old daughter of Lonny & Cassie Bossman, of Moorcroft, WY. She is in her second year of an Animal Science degree at LCCC in Cheyenne, WY, where she shows both Western and English on their IHSA team.
Anna has been involved with agriculture and rodeo her whole life, from the first rodeo she entered at 3 years old on her big yellow horse named Trey, to achieving the Wyoming State FFA Sheep Proficiency award in 2021 with a flock that she put together herself over a 6-year period. With her FFA career over, she is now investing her time in rodeo both as a participant and as a representative.
Anna is looking forward to filling her WPRA permit barrel racing with a horse that she started and seasoned herself and has recently purchased another one that she has started.
She believes that giving back to the youth in our community is an opportunity to set an example and is an important investment to the youth in our communities. Anna is enjoying representing the Black Hills Roundup as your Queen and would like to thank the committee, sponsors, fans, and all involved in this great Rodeo!
